Richard Cousineau C.APP., AACI, P.APP.

Richard Cousineau joined Fiera Real Estate in 2009, where he is now Chair of the Investment Committee, Real Estate Fund.

Previously, Mr. Cousineau was Senior Vice President, Real Estate Financing, Canada. He was primarily responsible for identifying and assessing financing opportunities across Canada. Backed by the members of his team, he ensured healthy and sustained growth of the portfolio by establishing partnerships with major real estate developers to finance their construction projects or the redevelopment of their real estate assets. Mr. Cousineau contributed to the success of the Real Estate Financing Fund with financing agreements entered into with key players in the industry, in addition to constantly exceeding benchmark target returns for investors.

Mr. Cousineau has more than 40 years of experience in real estate and financing. He previously worked for reputed organizations, including the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, in investment management for Canada. He also managed a real estate financing portfolio of more than $3.5 billion for major financial institutions in Canada.

Richard Cousineau holds a Bachelor’s degree in Administration from the Université du Québec à Montréal.
